Lake district by camper
In april 2018 I made a trip with my daughter Loeke for 15 days through the lake district. We started in Puerto Montt/ Puerto Varas, drove to Petrohue, San Carlos de Bariloche (Argentina), Entre Lagos, Puerto Villa la Angostura, San Martin de los Andes, crossed to border to Chile again in Paso Huahum, to Panguipulli, Frutona, Entre Lagos, Frutillar and back to Puerto Varas.
Our camper was basic, but perfect for us. Everything we needed was in there. Though to the cold weather (freezing during the nights), we felt very comfortable in our camper. Because it was out of season, mostly we were the only guests on the campings, and it also was possible to camp for free on the most beautiful places.
Travelling by camper is a perfect way to explore the beautyness of Chili, get in contact with people and a good combination for outdoor activities like we went for hiking and horse riding. I hope to come back soon and see other parts of Chili!!
