Maybe one of our best motorhome experiences ever! What a good decision to visit Patagonia. During our 2 week trip with the motorhome we visited amazing places here.
Starting in Punta Arenas we moved northbound towards Torres del Paine, Perito Moreno glacier and El Chalten that offered spectacular hiking trails. Afterwards we crossed the Patagonian desert as well as Fireland to reach the Beagle canal before returning back to Punta Arenas via Porvenir. The fact that we had a motorhome enabled us to be perfectly independent in the planning of our trip. Wild camping is still possible both in Chile and Argentina so we enjoyed staying in some of the loveliest and loneliest places! It was a trip full of nature and wild life.
The HolidayRent Team Punta Arenas provided professional and kind service in spanish, english and german language. Pick up and drop off went smoothly and in time. Transfer from and to Punta Arenas was included making everything less stressful.
We had 4 seater Toyota, that provided plenty of space for our family of 2 adults and 1 child. The kitchen, heating, shower and WC worked totally fine. Generally the car was in a good shape and clean. The solar panel provided enough energy for both the fridge and charging of our electronic devices. Since the car was 4x4 we were able to reach every spot we had planned for.
