What is the best time of the year to visit Chile by camper?
Chile has a lot to offer the whole year for travelers. It depends if you want to go for example to the desert (North) or Patagonia (South). Let us know about your plans so we can advise you.

How do I get to your office?
We are located at Santa Marta de Liray, parcela 15-2 (Colina). It is located outside of Santiago, approx. 30 to 40 min of distance to/from the airport or the city center. If you want us to organize a transfer to you, we will gladly help you with this, of course.

How much time in advance should I make a reservation?
If you would like to come in high season (October – March) it is recommendable to book 6 months or longer in advance. If you want to book last minute for example in low season, we mostly have a camper available so please contact us to see what we can offer.

Is there a minimum amount of rental days?
Yes, and it is divided by season. 7 days in low and mid-season and 15 days in high season.

What is the minimum age to rent?
To rent a camper the minimum age is 25 years and to rent an Altiplano roof tent the minimum age is 23 years.

Do I need to bring an international driver license?
We recommend to bring an international driver license, but it is not mandatory. Your national driver license is enough to rent a camper and you have to present the national driver license obligatory.

Do I have to bring my own camper equipment?
No, we deliver our campers fully equipped, included camping table and seats for outside. Please check on our website the equipment which is included for each camper.

How do you take the guarantee to rent a camper?
The only valid option to leave a guarantee is by credit card, not in cash neither to transfer the amount to our bank account. You have to make sure that you are within the limit of your credit card (and inform your bank you will rent a camper in Chile). The guarantee will get blocked from your card when you come to pick up the camper.

If I rent a single cabin vehicle, can two people sit in the front while one stays in the camper in the back?
No, this is not allowed due to the traffic laws in Chile.

Is it necessary to have a 4x4 to drive in Chile?
We highly recommend to travel with 4x4 in Chile. You will feel more comfortable in a 4x4 when you have difficult road conditions, which you will have in some places.

Can I only travel in Chile by camper or also in other countries?
It is also possible to go to other countries. We would love to hear where you want to go so we can advise about the options. We do need to know in advance which countries you want to visit by camper so we can prepare the documentation to cross the border.

Can I pick up or drop off the camper in another place than Santiago?
Yes, for sure. Please let us know where you would like to pick up/ drop off the camper and we will organize it for you.

How many kilometers are included in the rental price?
In the rental days are 200 kilometers (campers) or 250 kilometers (roof tent) included per day. If you need more kilometers, it is possible to buy 100 kilometers more per day in advance.

What happens if I will have an accident by camper?
First of all you will contact our 24/7 phone number. We will help and assist where needed and together we will solve the situation.

Does the insurance covers damage?
Yes, insurance covers damage. The client pay only a fixed and max amount which correspond to the guarantee.

When do I have to pay for my reservation?
You have to pay 30 % of total price upon reservation and the total balance 45 days prior to arrival.

How can I pay?
It is possible to pay in Euros, Pesos Chilenos and US Dollars. You can transfer the money to our bank account or you can pay by credit card. We will send you an authorization form that you have to fill in and email it back. When the booking is confirmed, you will receive instructions for the payment.
